Each year the Tinley Park Fire Prevention Bureau has a poster contest based on the annual theme proposed by the National Fire Prevention Association, (NFPA). The theme for 2007 is "Know Your Escape Plan". Over 5,500 students in the Tinley Park Schools participated in the contest. These are this years winners, Kindergarten through Grade 8. The winners are recognized at a special Poster Contest Banquet, and each winner receives a ride on a Fire Engine to their respective schools.
